2018 have been generous to the technology industry. From home gadgets to phones and games to peripherals and much more. Here are a few of them narrowed down.
1. Sonos Beam Sound Bar
The Sonos Beam is a sound bar that has excellent sound quality and a built-in Amazon Alexa. It can blend in your tv unit and is available in black and white, so it is a décor for your furniture too. Sonos has full Apple AirPlay support too and it can integrate to your other sound system too. It costs $399 but you’re definitely getting your money’s worth.
2. Samsung QLED Q900
Samsung went all out on this product. Although it is a whopping $14,999, this LED has all and everything. They delivered on their promise of an 8K TV with 8K AI multisampling, Quantum processor and real 8K resolution. This TV delivers the exact image the creator had intended. It varies from different sizes; 65 inches,75 inches and 85 inches. The bigger screen gives more clarity to the image.
3. Apple iPhone XR
Now many of us don’t have the money to buy Apple’s flagships this year and frankly, that’s okay. The iPhone X or XS is quite expensive but the XR is actually the same. It has the same chip and works just as equally as them. You would save hundreds of dollars just for the cost of not having an OLED panel which is switched by a regular LED panel but that’s not much of downgrade, is it? Use it with your unlimited international calling plans and you are good to go.
4. Razer Blade (2018)
This one is for the gamers; Razer’s re-released Razer Blade in 2018 and is slimmer, smarter and more powerful than before. This gaming laptop is the best you can find right now. RGB backlighting, 15.6-inch screen and sleek design with overall outclass performance, this laptop beats them all in design and performance. Costs around $2000, this includes SSD storage, Intel Core i7, Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070, 16 GB of RAM and an HD resolution of 1920 x 1080.
5. Samsung Galaxy Note 9
The Samsung Galaxy Note 9 is probably the only flagship in 2018 with a HEADPHONE JACK. Its specs are amazing and have great battery life. The sleek design with glass front and back and wireless charging. Android Oreo pre-installed, internal 512 GB, 8 gigs of RAM and 12-megapixel dual back cameras and 8-megapixel front camera. This phone probably bests Galaxy S9 and is great with best SIM only plans.
6. Amazon Echo Plus (2ND Gen)
The Amazon Echo was amazing on its own but with the Echo plus it’s really hard not to mention on this list. Attractive fabric design, better audio quality than before. It delivers 360-degree surround sound and seven built-in microphones that allows the user to activate it from anywhere in the room. The Echo is available in different colored fabrics; black, brown and grey. It integrates with your home or smart appliances like Phillips Hue smart bulb. The Amazon Echo 2nd gen is $149.
